Indiana Fever rookie sensation Caitlin Clark is set to miss out on a spot in the 12-player Team USA women’s basketball roster for the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics, according to sources cited by NBA insider Shams Charania.

Despite her remarkable performance in the WNBA this season, Clark’s name was not among those announced for the Team USA roster, which includes A’ja Wilson, Breanna Stewart, Diana Taurasi, Brittney Griner, Alyssa Thomas, Napheesa Collier, Jewell Loyd, Kelsey Plum, Jackie Young, Sabrina Ionescu, Chelsea Gray, and Kahleah Copper.

Clark, the top pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, has been a key contributor for the Fever, averaging 15.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 6.4 assists in 33 minutes per game this season.

While the Olympics may not be on Clark’s immediate horizon, her focus remains on helping the Indiana Fever succeed and reaching new heights in her basketball career.
