Indiana Fever/X

Caitlin Clark matched her career-high of 30 points on Friday night, leading the Indiana Fever to an 85-83 win over the Washington Mystics.

Clark tied a WNBA rookie record with seven three-pointers, breaking the Fever’s single-game record set by Tamika Catchings in 2002. She also added eight rebounds and six assists, joining Sabrina Ionescu as the only rookies to post a 30-5-5 line in a game.

The Mystics had a chance to win with 1.4 seconds left but failed to get a shot off. Clark’s previous 30-point game came in a loss to Los Angeles on May 28. On Friday, she went 8-for-15 from the field.
