Canadian Golf: Weekly Hole-In-One Report – April 15, 2024

Golf Canada Hole-In-One Report – Week of April 15, 2024

On April 11th, during a game at Point Grey Golf Club, a remarkable moment occurred for one golfer. Despite the rainy weather, the golfer, along with longtime friend Caroline McKee and new member Betty Gass, decided to play a few holes. They were joined by a young guest from The Ottawa Hunt Club, Geoff, whose group had cancelled.

During the round, at the second hole from approximately 86 yards out, the golfer used a pitching wedge and made a spectacular shot. The ball bounced once, hit the flag, and landed near the hole. To everyone’s surprise, the ball disappeared into the hole, resulting in a hole-in-one.

Although there was some concern about completing the required nine holes due to the rain, the group decided to continue. After finishing the ninth hole, they celebrated with drinks and lunch, creating lasting memories of the unforgettable hole-in-one moment shared with friends and a new acquaintance.
