Carlos Alcaraz ‘Fastest Player Ever’ According To Coach Rick Macci

Carlos Alcaraz ‘Fastest Player Ever’ According To Coach Rick Macci

Carlos Alcaraz is known for his speed on the court, and according to noted tennis coach Rick Macci, he’s the fastest player ever.

Tennis requires a lot of running around, and while it’s not the most important skill, it certainly can help if you’re a great mover on top of that. When you think about some of the best players in the world, a lot of them are very good movers because it’s all about positions in tennis.

The best forehand in the world means very little if you can’t properly set it up and unleash it. Carlos Alcaraz is both pretty quick and a really good mover on the court, which helps when he has to play on fast courts.

It certainly helps his level because some of the rallies that he’s been able to win in the past few years were incredible. Quite a few of them actually were vital as well because, let’s remember the Wimbledon final.

Alcaraz’s speed and quickness literally saved him the match against Novak Djokovic. Had Djokovic hit that volley and taken a break in the final set, he would have likely won that match.

That’s just one example where Alcaraz used his speed to his advantage in a crucial moment, and there were several moments like that. According to Macci, that speed is the greatest he’s ever seen in a tennis player.

During a podcast was asked who is the Fastest player I Ever Saw. EASY ANSWER. I am not really sure as I could not See them. @CarlosAlcaraz

He’s seen a lot of great tennis players over the year, and quite a few were quite quick. Alex de Minaur is famously known as the speed demon, and he’s pretty quick, but for Macci, it’s Alcaraz who takes the first place because of his burst.
