Casemiro Interested in Moving to Saudi Arabia in January, Manchester United Transfer Update

Does Casemiro's form mean Man United don't need Manuel Ugarte? - Man United News And Transfer News

Manchester United have struggled at the start of the campaign, losing three out of four games in all competitions while being also being overrun in midfield, a common sight last season.

Casemiro seemed to be regaining some of the form he was showcasing during his debut season in red but that did not last long as the Brazilian was torn to shreds by Liverpool during their 3-0 win at Old Trafford before the international break.

The former Real Madrid superstar was at fault for two of the three goals conceded and did not even emerge for the second half as Erik ten Hag turned to academy ace Toby Collyer instead.

INEOS tried to sell the Brazil international during the summer, even going against the manager’s wishes but no concrete bids from Saudi Pro League clubs arrived.

Casemiro’s struggles

After the Liverpool debacle, there was talk of a move to Galatasaray but the player turned down that chance even though this is likely to be his final season in Manchester.

With Manuel Ugarte brought in, the five-time Champions League winner’s minutes are likely to reduce and that is why he is open to leaving as early as January.

Football Insider have revealed that Saudi clubs are likely to come back for the former Sao Paulo man in January and if not then, a move is certain to materialise next summer.

INEOS will be forced to agree a cut-price exit for a player the club paid a whopping £70 million fee back in Ten Hag’s first summer in charge.

Saudi move beckons

“Casemiro is expected to leave Man United in a move to Saudi Arabia either in January or next summer, sources have told Football Insider.

“Sources say the midfielder is already considering a move to the Saudi Pro League after a nightmare start to the season at Old Trafford.

“A move to Saudi Arabia is growing more likely and clubs in the Middle East are already plotting moves for when the transfer window opens.”

Former teammates Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema want Casemiro to join them and in all likelihood, his departure from Old Trafford is just a matter of time.
