According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, James Borrego is gaining traction as the next head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Borrego has also been considered for the head coaching vacancy with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Currently serving as the top assistant coach for the New Orleans Pelicans, Borrego previously held the position of head coach with the Charlotte Hornets.
The Cavaliers are in the process of finding a replacement for J.B. Bickerstaff.
