Having excelled in both the Union’s academy and various U.S. youth national teams, Sullivan is prepared to make an impact with Union II and eventually the first team.
Speaking at a press conference, Sullivan expressed his excitement about signing his first professional contract and emphasized his focus on hard work and development. He is determined to fulfill his potential and constantly improve.
Sullivan’s talent has attracted interest from several top European clubs, but Manchester City ultimately secured his services. The club, known for developing top talent like Phil Foden and Cole Palmer, has high hopes for Sullivan.
While Sullivan acknowledges the attention surrounding his future move to Manchester, he is focused on his current development with the Union and remains committed to the team’s success.
Having made appearances for Union II in MLS NEXT Pro, Sullivan is looking to earn more playing time with the team and potentially make his first team debut under coach Jim Curtin.
As he follows in the footsteps of other successful homegrown talents like Brenden Aaronson and Mark McKenzie, Sullivan eagerly anticipates his own MLS debut and the support of Union fans.
