Chance Comanche, 27, ended up in Sacramento County Jail facing first-degree kidnapping charges.
The missing person, Marayna Rodgers, disappeared on December 6 during her visit to Las Vegas, reportedly getting into a car with her 19-year-old friend, Sakari Harnden.
Comanche had played a G League game near Las Vegas the night before Rodgers went missing.
