Eighth-ranked Dutch Groningen (2-6) was very close to win a game against third-ranked Belgian Spirou Charleroi (6-2) on Friday. Spirou Charleroi managed to secure only a two-point victory, 76-74. However, their fans expected a much easier game. Charleroi shot 33 for 46 from the free-throw line, while Groningen only scored five points from the stripe. They outrebounded Groningen 56-33, including a 21-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. |
