Portland Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups talked about rookie Scoot Henderson’s elite defensive potential after this past weekend’s 126-106 road loss vs. the Golden State Warriors.
(via Portland Trail Blazers):
Reporter: “Scoot had 3 steals tonight. Obviously took turns guarding some pretty dynamic guards. What do you think his potential is on the defensive end?”
Billups: “When he learns how aggressive he could be at different points of the game… he’s an aggressive defender, he’s a tenacious defender… he’s going to be an elite defender in this league.
