Tonali has proven himself to be an exceptional player since his move to Newcastle. Regarded as one of the top defensive midfielders in the Premier League, he could perfectly complement Caicedo in Chelsea’s setup.
Together, they would fortify the team’s defensive structure while disrupting opposing offenses. Given Chelsea’s recent defensive struggles, improving this area is crucial for their ambitions to clinch significant titles.

Tonali might find the opportunity to join one of England’s most prestigious clubs appealing. There have been rumors of his exit from Newcastle in recent months, with interest from various clubs in Italy as well.
However, with a contract at Newcastle valid until 2029, the club is under no obligation to part with him. Chelsea would likely need to offer a substantial fee to persuade Newcastle to sell.
