The Kansas City Chiefs continue to keep their Super Bowl core intact while bringing in new pieces at the same time, especially on offense.

The team has added multiple wide receivers this offseason.

That includes the signing of former 1,000-yard wide receiver “Hollywood” Brown and the selection of first-round speedster Xavier Worthy.

Additionally, the team did bring back one familiar face just recently.

According to insider Jordan Schultz, Kansas City is re-signing veteran wide receiver Mecole Hardman to a one-year deal.

The 26-year-old caught the game-winning touchdown pass in last year’s Super Bowl to beat the San Francisco 49ers.

In his five-year career, Hardman has been a solid role player.

His best season came back in 2021 when he caught 59 passes for 693 yards and 8 touchdowns.

In his postseason career, he has recorded 27 receptions for 288 yards and 3 touchdowns.

What has made the Chiefs great are quality puzzle pieces like Hardman.

This team has some real speed with Hardman, Worthy, and Brown out wide.

Not to mention the fact that rising star Rashee Rice, who is about to be suspended by the NFL for off-the-field issues this offseason, will be back at some point too.

This wide receiver core could be one of the deepest in the league.

With Patrick Mahomes throwing the football, this has the makings of yet another fantastic offensive season in Kansas City.
