At a press conference in London on Thursday, Chris Eubank Jr. didn’t hold back, launching a scathing attack on some of the major boxing promoters.
Chris Eubank Jr. Launches Angry Attack
35-year-old Chris Eubank Jr. is scheduled to face Kamil Szeremeta in October this year, and during a press conference in London, Eubank Jr. took the opportunity to express his views.
While the event was meant to promote his upcoming bout against Szeremeta, Eubank Jr. veered off script and criticized some of boxing’s most prominent promoters.
When questioned about his choice to work with Boxxer rather than Eddie Hearn or Frank Warren, Eubank Jr. didn’t hold back in his response.
“Why Boxxer? Because every other promoter out here is a scumbag,”

“You know, you’ve got Frank Warren behind me who’s been lying and cheating his way through boxing for the last couple decades. Sued me for a couple hundred thousand a few years ago so I was never go with him.”
Eubank also called out Kalle Sauerland for having him in a detrimental contract, along with labeling Eddie Hearn and Frank Smith as ‘scumbags’ in the industry.
However, Eubank did acknowledge one promoter for their integrity, praising the Riyadh Season promoter for not exploiting fighters and maintaining a focus on boxing.
“The only promoter that I know for sure isn’t a scumbag is his excellency, Turki Alalshikh,” Eubank said. “This is a man who isn’t trying to take money from fighters, he isn’t trying to use lawyers. He’s a man of God, he’s a man of religion.
“He just wants to put the best fights on and pay the fighters what they’re worth and he’s the first promoter in the history of boxing to be like this. And Ben Shalom is a pretty cool guy, too.”
Eubank’s outburst caused a stir among the industry bigwigs present at the conference, and it’s likely that his feud with Frank Warren is far from over.
