The Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards, returning to the game on Wednesday after sitting out two matches due to a hip pointer, seemed to be showing signs of discomfort in his right hip, according to Hine of The Star Tribune.

Edwards, with a 4-of-17 shooting performance, admitted post-game that he was hesitant to give his all in the first half due to fear.

He gradually gained confidence as the game progressed. Head coach Chris Finch mentioned that it took Edwards some time to find the rhythm and expressed a desire to see more aggression despite the potential discomfort Edwards may be working through.

“Took him a while to find the rhythm of the game. I’m not sure he really ever did,” head coach Finch said. “I’d like to see him attack a little bit more.

“Seemed a little hesitant to go at times. But I’m sure he’s working through a little bit of discomfort, so it’s to be expected.”
