Christian Pulisic continues his impressive form in Milan Derby triumph

Christian Pulisic stays hot in Milan Derby victory

Christian Pulisic has been in fine form early in AC Milan’s season, scoring his third goal of the Serie A campaign in a 2-1 Milan Derby victory over rivals Inter.

Pulisic opened the scoring for AC Milan with an impressive individual effort. The 26-year-old stole possession on Inter’s side of the field in the 10th minute, sprinted into the box, and slotted home to give AC Milan a 1-0 lead.

Inter equalized in the 27th minute through Federico Dimarco, but AC Milan secured the win in stoppage time as Matteo Gabbia converted Tijjani Reijnders’ free kick for a 2-1 victory.

Pulisic played 78 minutes, registering two tackles, winning three duels, and making three defensive recoveries. With four goals and two assists in six appearances this season, he has been a key player for AC Milan.

The win moved AC Milan to seventh place in the Serie A table, tied on eight points with Inter. They will close out their September schedule against Lecce on Friday.
