Christian Pulisic is currently in a remarkable run of form. Pulisic scored in his fourth consecutive match as AC Milan secured a 3-0 victory over Lecce in Serie A.
This goal marked Pulisic’s fifth goal in five appearances for both club and country, a career-best for the U.S. men’s national team star.
Alvaro Morata opened the scoring for AC Milan in the 38th minute with a well-placed header from a set piece. Theo Hernandez added a second goal just three minutes later, and Pulisic increased the lead with a goal two minutes after that.
This goal was Pulisic’s fifth of the season across all competitions.
Despite being reduced to 10 men in the second half, AC Milan easily defended their lead against Lecce.
Pulisic played 63 minutes in the match, showcasing his importance to the team under Paulo Fonseca.
AC Milan, currently in second place, will resume UEFA Champions League action on Tuesday against Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen.
