Christian Wood has decided to exercise his $3 million player option for the 2024-25 season with the Los Angeles Lakers. He originally signed a two-year contract with the Lakers, which included a player option for the upcoming season.
During his first season with the team, Wood played in 50 games. He maintained averages of 6.9 points and 5.1 rebounds in 17.4 minutes per game coming off the bench for the Lakers.
