For the first time in years, the NFC North could be one of the most competitive divisions in the National Football League.

We’re talking about two teams that are fresh off making deep postseason runs, as well as one of the most improved teams in the game — at least on paper.

Unfortunately, the Minnesota Vikings are clearly a couple of tiers below their divisional opponents, which is why it’s not a surprise to see them having the worst odds of winning the division (+1000).

Nonetheless, they could end up making a postseason run if their quarterback situation pans out better than expected.

According to a report by The Purple Persuasion on Twitter, all other three divisional rivals are +265 or less in the DraftKings Sportsbook, with the Chicago Bears ranking third (+265), the Green Bay Packers second (+210), and the Detroit Lions as the clear odds-on favorite (+150).

The Lions are fresh off a trip to the NFC Championship Game, and they were some questionable coaching decisions away from making it to the Super Bowl for the first time in franchise history.

Notably, they could’ve faced the Green Bay Packers in that Championship Game, as they were also up late vs. the San Francisco 49ers before Kyle Shanahan’s team stormed back.

As for the Bears, adding the likes of Caleb Williams, Rome Odunze, Keenan Allen, and D’Andre Swift to the mix, plus their already impressive defense, makes analysts and fans think that they have a legitimate shot at making the playoffs next season.
