The Cleveland Browns are coming off one of their best seasons in recent history, especially if you consider the context.
This team wasn’t supposed to make it as far as they did, as they had five different starting quarterbacks and endured a myriad of injuries on both sides of the field.
And while the outcome was disappointing, the journey proved that the Browns weren’t that far off from actual Super Bowl contention.
That’s why it wasn’t much of a surprise to see that they just signed HC Kevin Stefanski and GM Andrew Berry to contract extensions.
Stefanski and Berry have been with the team since 2020.
They’ve led the team to a 37-30 (.552) record, which is their best four-year stretch since 1986-89.
Also, if you consider the fact that they haven’t had a steady quarterback situation for most of that period and the fact that they play in the toughest division in all of football, it’s all the more impressive.
In their first season together, they led the team to their first postseason berth in 18 years and first playoff win in 26 seasons.
Also, with the team going 8-1 at Cleveland Browns Stadium and Stefanski winning NFL Coach of the Year again in 2023, it was a no-brainer decision for this organization.
Now, they have to take another leap forward and keep making history together.
