MKK Kumanovo (Prva Liga) signed experienced 36-year old American guard Antabia Waller (189cm-1988, college: Auburn) for upcoming 2024-25 season. Waller played last season at Mornar in Montenegrin Erste Liga. He managed to play in three leagues last year. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he was exposed to basketball on different levels. In 5 FIBA Europe Cup games he had 11.2ppg, 2.6rpg, 1.8apg and 1.2spg. Waller also played 26 games in ABA League where he recorded 7.0ppg, 2.2rpg and 1.5apg. And finally he recorded 1 game in Basketball Champions League where he averaged 10 points.
The previous (2023) summer he played at War Ready in U.S. semi-pro league TBT. In only one game he got 6 points and 1 assist in 2023 year.
He is quite experienced player. Waller has played in five different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Bosnia (Igokea), Italy (Openjobmetis Varese), Kosovo (Sigal Prishtina and Bashkimi), Turkey (Oyak Renault, Gaziantep and Vestel) and Dominican Republic (San Lazaro).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Eurobasket.com Montenegrin League All-Imports Team back in 2017.
It’s very possible he may end his playing career at MKK Kumanovo.
Waller graduated from Auburn University in 2010 and it will be his 15th (!!!) season as a professional player.
