Top ranked Sutjeska (19-3) recorded its third loss in Podgorica on Thursday night. Visitors were rolled over by fifth-ranked SC Derby (15-7) 93-71. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Sutjeska. SC Derby looked well-organized offensively, handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was Bosnian-Croatian Tomislav Ivisic (214-2003) who had a double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds. The former international Zoran Vuceljic (197-2003) chipped in 21 points and 5 rebounds. Serbian guard Milos Jovic (194-1997, college: Miami, OH) produced 13 points and 5 assists for the guests. Sutjeska’s coach Dragan Nikolic allowed ten players to play, seeing no chance for a win. SC Derby maintains the fifth position with a 15-7 record. Sutjeska, on the other hand, still holds the top spot with only three games lost. SC Derby is looking forward to facing bottom-ranked Pljevlja (#13) on the road in the next round and hopes to secure another win. Sutjeska will play against Teodo (#3) in Tivat in what may be a tough game between close rivals.
