Konya BBSK (TBL) strengthened their roster with the addition of 28-year-old small forward Ogulcan Baykan (196cm-1996) for the 2024-25 season. Baykan played last season at Ankaragucu in the Turkish TBL league, averaging 6.2ppg, 3.4rpg, and 1.2apg in 14 games. Moving to TB2L will provide him with more playing time and a better match. He previously played for Erokspor in TBL, where he averaged 4.0ppg, 1.7rpg, and 1.1apg in 13 games.
Baykan represented Turkey at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 in Helsinki, Finland, eight years ago. His team won Bronze, and he averaged 1.0ppg and 1.4apg in 5 games. He has also played for Efes, Bakirkoy, Yalovaspor, Buyukcekmece, Konyaspor, Afyon, and another stint with Buyukcekmece. His team made it to the Turkish Cup final in 2017.
