Ivan Sapundziev

KK TFT Skopje (Prva Liga) inked 29-year old 196cm shooting guard Ivan Sapundziev for upcoming season. It is actually his comeback to Skopje as he has played here before. Sapundziev has played for the last two years at Pelister in the Prva Liga. In 18 games he recorded 3.0ppg last season. He helped them to make it to both league and Cup finals. Sapundziev also played 9 games in ABA League where he averaged just 2.0ppg.
He represented North Macedonia at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 Division B in Szekesfehervar (Hungary) nine years ago. His stats at that event were 7 games: 5.1ppg, 1.9rpg, FGP: 33.3%, 3PT: 40.0%, FT: 50.0%.
Sapundziev has played previously for three other teams: Feni Industries, Karpos Sokoli and Vardar.
