Trotamundos de Carabobo (SPB) agreed terms with experienced 35-year old Venezuelan-Spanish international swingman Jhornan Zamora (196cm-1989). It is actually his comeback to La Asuncion as he has played here before. Zamora played last season at Alliance Sport Alsace Gries-Souffel in French ProB. In 27 games he had 5.5ppg, 2.2rpg and 2.5apg. He helped them to make it to the cup final.
Zamora has been also a member of Venezuelan international program for some years. He has regularly played for Venezuelan senior team since 2012 and previously for U18 National Team in 2005.
Zamora represented Venezuela at the World Cup in China five years ago. His stats at that event were 5 games: 7.8ppg, 1.2rpg, 1.0apg, FGP: 35.7%, 3PT: 30.0%, FT: 66.7%.
He is quite experienced player. Zamora has played also professionally in Chile (Puerto Montt), Colombia (Cimarrones and Titanes), Paraguay (Sol de America), Spain (Ourense, Valladolid and Zunder Palencia), France (Saint Quentin and ALM Evreux) and Venezuela (Aduaneros, Guacharos, Broncos and Metropolitanos). He won Colombian LPB Clausura championship title in 2022 and 2023.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-French ProB Honorable Mention back in 2021.
