Al Karameh Homs (SBL) has signed 30-year-old American 208cm center Marlon Johnson (college: NMHU). He joins Dewarick Spencer, another USA player already on the roster. Johnson started the season at Konyaspor in the Turkish TBL league. In 34 games, he averaged an impressive 16.1ppg, 10.4rpg, 2.7apg, 1.9spg, and 1.0bpg. He was also voted League Player of the Week three times. Last summer, he played for Bandits (ncouver Bandits (Canada-CEBL): 9 games: 7.3ppg, 4.4rpg, FGP: 55.6%, 3PT: 35.3%, FT: 88.9%) in the Canadian CEBL.

He is a very experienced player, having played professionally in ten different countries on five continents thanks to pro basketball. He has experience in European, Asian, Latin American, African, and North American leagues. Some of the teams he has played for include Stingers, Rattlers, and Five in Canada, Pyrinto in Finland, Dynamo in Lebanon, Imortal in Portugal, Caceres and Prat in Spain, Suns and New Taipei CTBC DEA in Taiwan, as well as teams in Turkey, the Dominican Republic, Libya, and The Basketball Tournament with Brotherly Love. His team reached the CEBL Semifinals in 2023.

He graduated from New Mexico Highlands University in 2017 and it’s his seventh season in pro basketball. He also played for Tallahassee Community College for one year.
