KK Teodo Tivat (Erste Liga) strengthened their roster with addition of experienced 36-year old former international 187cm guard
Nemanja Vranjes for season 2024-25. Vranjes has played for the last seven years at
Mornar in the Erste Liga. He managed to play in four leagues last year. The team played in four different competitions that year, and he was exposed to basketball on different levels. In four FIBA Europe Cup games he recorded 3.8ppg, 1.3rpg, 1.8apg and 1.3spg. Vranjes also played 24 games in ABA League where he averaged 7.8ppg, 2.7rpg and 1.5apg. He also played 2 games in Erste Liga where he had 7.0ppg and 3.5apg. And finally he recorded 1 game in Basketball Champions League where he got impressive 16 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal.
Vranjes was also a member of Montenegrin international program for some years. He played for Montenegrin Senior National Team between 2015 and 2020 and previously for U20 National Team back in 2008.
Vranjes also represented Montenegro at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) seven years ago. His stats at that event were 6 games: 4.5ppg, 1.5rpg, 1.3apg.
He is a very experienced player. Vranjes has played also professionally in Bosnia, Greece, Montenegro, and North Macedonia. He won Montenegrin League championship title in 2017 and 2018 and made it to the cup final in 2012, 2018, 2020, 2021 and 2022. Vranjes was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Montenegrin League Honorable Mention back in 2008 and 2018.
He is close to retirement age as a player. It may be one of last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Teodo.
