MKE Ankaragucu Basketbol (TBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 32-year old 191cm shooting guard Muhammed Baygul, agency: Interperformances. Baygul was about to sign at Tofas (BSL). TBL will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. The last season he played at Bahcesehir (also in BSL) where in 24 games he recorded 7.7ppg, 2.4rpg and 2.1apg. He also played 16 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he averaged 6.5ppg, 2.6rpg and 2.0apg. Baygul helped them to make it to the cup final.
He represented Turkey at the World University Games in Gwangju (South Korea) nine years ago. His stats at that event were 6 games: 6.7ppg, 1.3rpg, FGP: 46.2%, 3PT: 42.1%, FT: 57.1%.
Baygul has played previously for seven other teams: Pinar Karsiyaka, Darussafaka Lassa, Turk Telekom, Galatasaray, TED Ankara, FMV Isik and Galatasaray.
