Lions de Geneve (SBL) confirmed in their roster 29-year old Swiss-German international point guard Robert Zinn (197cm-85kg-1995) for the upcoming 2024-25 season. Zinn played there last season. In 36 SBL games, he had 10.8ppg, 4.0rpg, 6.6apg (top 2), and 1.1spg. He helped them to make it to the cup final and to the league semifinals. In the 2023-24 season, he was named to Eurobasket.com All-Swiss SBL Honorable Mention.
The previous (2022-23) season, he played at Lugano Tigers where, in 27 SBL games, he recorded very impressive stats: 15.9ppg, 5.9rpg, 11.0apg (leader !!!), and 1.1spg. In that year, he was named to Eurobasket.com Swiss SBL All-Domestic Players Team and League Player of the Week (3 times).
Zinn also represented Switzerland at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) 2021 Pre-Qualifiers five years ago. His stats at that event were 5 games: 1.2ppg, 2.2apg.
He has played previously professionally also in Germany (MBC, Breitenguessbach, Tuebingen, Kirchheim Knights, and Ludwigsburg) and Switzerland (Fribourg and Red Team).
