AONS Milonas Athens (Elite League) signed experienced 41-year old point guard Apollonas Tsochlas (189cm-1983) for upcoming 2024-25 season. Tsochlas played last season at Megaridas. In 34 Elite League games he had 5.7ppg, 1.4rpg and 2.8apg.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at Psychikou where in 21 Elite League games he recorded 3.4ppg and 1.4apg in that year. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the semifinals.
Tsochlas has spent his entire career in Greece playing for seven other teams: PAOK Mateco Thessaloniki, Ionikos Nikaias, Doukas, Rethymno, Kefallonias, AO Triton and Rethymno.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Greek A1 League Honorable Mention back in 2015.
He is close to retirement age as a player. It’s very possible he may end his playing career at Milonas.
