Defending champion London Lions (SLB) agreed terms with 26-year old American (has also Israeli passport) guard Michael Brisker (188cm-80kg-1998) for new 2024-25 season. Brisker played last season at Rouen Metropole Basket in French ProB. In 33 games he had 13.7ppg, 1.5rpg and 2.1apg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals.
His team won Israeli National League Regular Season in 2017 and 2019.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at Kiryat Ata in Israeli Winner League where in 20 games he recorded 7.9ppg, 1.8rpg and 2.3apg in that year.
Brisker has been also a member of Israeli international program for some years. He has regularly played for Israeli senior team since 2022 and previously for U20 National Team back in 2018.
Brisker represented Israel at the World University Games in Napoli (Italy) five years ago. Brisker’s team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were 6 games: 6.8ppg, 1.3rpg, 1.0apg, 3PT: 36.0%, FT: 40.0%.
He has played also professionally for other Israeli teams like Hapoel Gilboa Galil, Hapoel Tel Aviv, Next Urban Maccabi Haifa, Maccabi Raanana and Hapoel Eilat.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted Eurobasket.com All-Israeli League Most Improved Player of the Year and was selected to Israeli League All-Star Game in 2022. His team won Israeli National League Regular Season in 2017 and 2019.
