Turk Telekom Ankara (BSL) added 27-year old German center
Mahir Agva (206cm-109kg-1996) to their roster for the new 2024-25 season. Agva, who played in the Turkish League last season with Petkim, posted averages of 9.0ppg, 4.6rpg, and 1.2apg in 32 BSL games.

He previously played for Galatasaray during the 2022-23 season, where he had lower numbers. Agva has also competed in Basketball Champions League and represented Germany at the World University Games in Taipei.

Throughout his professional career, Agva has played in Germany and Turkey for various teams. Notably, he was part of the final of Basketball Champions League in 2021. He has also been selected to the German NBBL All-Star Game in 2014 and 2015.
