Confirmed Man United XI vs Liverpool: Marcus Rashford starts, Scott McTominay not in squad – Man United News And Transfer News

Marcus Rashford has been recalled to the Manchester United side to face Liverpool at Old Trafford today.

The man who replaced Rashford against Chelsea, Antony, returns to the bench despite putting in a decent performance against the Blues.

In midfield, Scott McTominay is not in the squad at all.

17 year old left back, Harry Amass could make his United debut today and is on the bench.

Andre Onana is in goal.

With Raphael Varane, Jonny Evans, Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof, Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia all injured, the defence picks itself, with Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan-Bissaka the full backs and Harry Maguire and Willy Kambwala the centre backs.

Casemiro has recovered from a knock to partner Kobbie Mainoo in midfield, with Bruno Fernandes ahead of them.

Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund make up the XI.

Anthony Martial is still injured.

On the bench, Altay Bayindir returns after injury. He, Antony and Amass are joined by Habeeb Ogunneye, Amad, Christian Eriksen, Sofyan Amrabat, Mason Mount and Omari Forson.

If Amass, Forson and Ogunneye all take the field, there could be six teenagers in the side in what is one of the toughest matches on the calendar.

Kick-off at Old Trafford is at 3.30pm.
