Everyone Was Saying The Same Thing About Tom Brady Sunday

The NFL was treated to Tom Brady’s debut as a broadcaster in Week 1 when he handled the call for the game between the Dallas Cowboys and Cleveland Browns.

Brady seemed comfortable in spurts giving his analysis and providing some insight into the offensive gameplan, though some noted his lack of enthusiasm and energy in the booth.

Brady’s bread and butter early on seems to be breaking down quarterbacks and what they’re seeing from defensive coverages, but he could definitely be better with his color commentary and giving some more energy on his calls.

However, he got another crack at the microphone in Week 2 as he was on the call for another Cowboys game, this time against the New Orleans Saints.

Although the game morphed into a blowout thanks to Alvin Kamara, Brady showed noticeable improvement calling the game which drew mostly positive reviews from people on social media.

Brady himself admitted he could have been better in Week 1, and so far he has made good on his promise to improve as he’s done a much better job staying present during the game.

He’s even shown a knack for calling plays as they happen throughout the game, a sign that he’s still got it from an X’s and O’s standpoint.

Fox made a big gamble signing Brady to a lucrative deal to be their new No. 1 analyst on the network, though it looks like they might have made the right choice as he continues to get reps under his belt.

Brady’s name is synonymous with football at this point and it’s good to have him around the game again.
