We’ve reached Day 8 of the 2024 Copa America, and Group C is back on the field tonight. The USMNT will take on Panama in the first match of the evening, but after that we have Uruguay facing Bolivia.
Uruguay got off to a good start in group play with a 3-1 win over Panama in their opening match on Sunday. They will likely be looking at the USMNT-Panama match result to see what they need to do in order to keep pace and hold their current 1 goal scored lead in the Group C standings.
Bolivia lost 2-0 to the USMNT in their first match, so they will need a big result against Uruguay if they want a chance of getting out of the group. They haven’t played well in a long time, so their best shot is to throw everything they can at Uruguay to see if they can steal a result and put themselves in a position to have a prayer in the final matchday.
