PAOK Mateco Thessaloniki (GBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 30-year old American guard Frank Bartley IV (191cm-98kg-1994, college: Louisiana) for season 2024-25. Bartley played last season at Happy Casa Brindisi in Italian Serie A. In 16 games he recorded 12.9ppg, 3.7rpg, 1.9apg and 1.3spg. He also played for Eagles in Chinese CBA where in 17 games he averaged 9.1ppg, 3.9rpg and 2.1apg.
Bartley is quite experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America) in eight different countries. He has played previously professionally in Denmark (Bakken), Germany (Bayreuth), Israel (Ironi Nes Ziona), Spain (Valladolid), Canada (Riptide), NBA Summer League (New Orleans Pelicans) and The Basketball Tournament (LS Legends and Gutter Cats). Bartley played in the final of WCC Tournament in 2014 and 2015.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Israeli League Honorable Mention in 2022.
He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.
Bartley graduated from University Louisiana at Lafayette in 2018 and it will be his seventh season as a professional player. He played also for Brigham Young University for 2 years.
