The 2024 NFL Draft is officially in the books and there are several teams who did well to help themselves in preparation for the 2024 NFL season.

The first round was filled with plenty of entertainment and intrigue as the first 14 picks were spent on offensive players before the first defensive player was picked.

Of those 14 picks, six of them were quarterbacks, which signaled a clear sign that teams were desperately looking to shore up the most important position in professional sports.

Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, J.J. McCarthy, and Bo Nix are all expected to make immediate impacts, while Michael Penix Jr. looms as the future face of the franchise for the Atlanta Falcons.

Although the draft just wrapped up, evaluators and analysts are already looking forward to the 2025 NFL Draft that will feature players like Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders.

Sanders is a highly-touted quarterback in his own right and is projected to go early in next year’s draft, via Action Network.

“Shedeur Sanders is the favorite to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft,” they tweeted.

Shedeur, son of NFL legend Deion Sanders, has shown he’s got the arm talent, poise, and mental makeup to lead an NFL team, and it’s no surprise that he opens up as the favorite to go first overall.

Next year’s class isn’t nearly as deep as this year’s was, but that shouldn’t take away from the type of talent that Shedeur is.

Although Deion might have an idea of where he wants his son to go, Sheduer going No. 1 might make that idea a moot point.
