Brock Purdy’s stellar performance led the San Francisco 49ers to a 36-24 victory over the Seattle Seahawks, solidifying his growing reputation as a force to be reckoned with in the NFL.

The young quarterback put on a show, throwing for 255 yards and three touchdowns, including a jaw-dropping 76-yard bomb to Deebo Samuel in the second quarter.

Purdy’s connection with his receivers was on full display as he found George Kittle in the end zone twice, once from 10 yards out and again from nine.

This win pushes Purdy’s record against Seattle to a perfect 5-0, including playoff matchups, showcasing his ability to perform under pressure.

The buzz around Purdy’s play is reaching new heights, with former NFL quarterback Dan Orlovsky drawing comparisons to none other than Patrick Mahomes.

On ESPN’s NFL Live, Orlovsky remarked, “I would say outside of Sam Darnold, he (Purdy) is playing the best football of any NFC quarterback right now. The second thing is this and I know it is big. He’s entered into the Patrick Mahomes category when it comes to backbreaking runs with his legs.”

Orlovsky’s praise highlights Purdy’s dual-threat capability, noting how his running ability has become a game-changing asset, much like Mahomes’ scrambling prowess in crucial moments.

In the Seahawks game, Purdy’s stats tell the tale of his dominance: 18 completions on 28 attempts, averaging an impressive 9.1 yards per throw.

The offensive line deserves credit too, keeping Purdy untouched throughout the game.

As the 49ers gear up for a highly anticipated Week 7 clash with the Kansas City Chiefs at home, followed by a matchup against the Dallas Cowboys before their bye week, all eyes will be on Purdy.

The question on everyone’s mind: Can he maintain this remarkable momentum and continue to elevate his game?
