The Dallas Cowboys weren’t supposed to lose, at least not now.
They were 7.5-point favorites against an inexperienced Green Bay Packers team that had already overachieved this season.
They had won 16 consecutive games at home, crushing their opponents during that span.
Still, they collapsed en route to a 48-32 game, which was 48-16 until the six-minute mark in the fourth quarter.
That’s why former NFL quarterback turned analyst Dan Orlovsky believes it’s time to just call it a day and hit the drawing board in Arlington.
Talking on ESPN’s Get Up, Orlovsky argued that it’s time to restart everything in Dallas and just blow it up.

That might seem like an overreaction, but he could be right on point.
This Cowboys team is full of elite players, yet it seems like they lack the character to get the job done, and the same goes for the coaching staff, as both Mike McCarthy and Dan Quinn have a long and well-documented history of crucial collapses.
Jerry Jones has been in charge of every decision for quite a while now, yet he hasn’t found success in three decades, so maybe it’s time someone else takes the reins as GM.
As for Dak Prescott, they might be stuck with him and have no choice but to sign him to a contract extension, but perhaps it would be better for them to just part ways with him, and give someone else — maybe even Trey Lance — a chance, as he’s proven over and over that he’s not made for the postseason.
