Dan Orlovsky’s Prediction on Davante Adams’ Next Team Trading Destination

Odds Show A Clear Betting Favorite To Land Davante Adams

Immediately after star wide receiver Davante Adams requested a trade from the Las Vegas Raiders earlier this week, many people around the NFL and in the media believed that the New York Jets could be his next team.

Former NFL quarterback and ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky feels very strongly about that as well.

“He’s going to be a Jet. He has to be a Jet…They need (Davante Adams),” Orlovsky said on Get Up Thursday morning.

Things were looking up for the Jets before last week when they were sitting at 2-1 after a blowout win over the rival Patriots.

But after falling at home to a young and unproven Denver Broncos team in a game where they only scored nine points, it might be clear that this team needs one more piece.

Of course, the relationship between MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Adams goes back a decade.

After getting drafted by the Green Bay Packers in 2014, Adams would go on to emerge as a superstar in this league thanks in large part to the play of Rodgers.

Rodgers won three of his four career MVPs with the former Fresno State star in the fold, and Adams would go on to make five Pro Bowls before leaving for Las Vegas in 2022.

Still in the prime of his career, Adams likely wants to join a contending team.

The New York Jets are playoff contenders with their talent but need more if they want to win the Super Bowl.

Adding Adams to an offense that includes Rodgers, Garrett Wilson, Breece Hall, Mike Williams, Braelon Allen, and Allen Lazard could put the league on notice.
