Dan Quinn Summarizes Jayden Daniels’ Sunday Performance in Three Words

Dan Quinn Used 3-Words To Describe How Jayden Daniels Performed Sunday

The Washington Commanders are on a roll right now. Dan Quinn’s team is riding a three-game winning streak, and their offense looks better by the week. Of course, most of that has to do with Jayden Daniels. The reigning No. 2 pick has been as good as advertised — if not better — and it seems like he’s more in control of the offense with every single snap. He was already in the spotlight after leading the team to a huge win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday Night Football. However, he didn’t allow that to get to his head. When asked about Daniels’ demeanor and how he handled the extra attention this past week, Coach Quinn claimed that he handled it “like a G” (via Ben Standig).

Clearly, the Commanders’ coach is hanging out with younger players and wants to keep up to date with the slang. But more than that, he might be on point with his assessment of his quarterback. Daniels has been completely unfazed by his performances or the praise. He keeps his head high and does his job, knowing that he has to take everything one game at a time. The Commanders’ defense finally showed up to play as well. And while Jonathan Gannon didn’t coach his best game, the Arizona Cardinals’ offense had been fairly efficient in the first three weeks of the season. It’s still early to talk about the Commanders as a postseason team, but they’re atop of their division and Daniels looks like a superstar in the making.
