Davante Adams Voices Support for Aaron Rodgers

Former Teammate Defends Aaron Rodgers Amid Criticism

There is still a ton of respect and admiration between Davante Adams and Aaron Rodgers.

After being teammates in Green Bay for eight seasons, Adams was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders in 2022 and Rodgers joined the Jets the following year.

During a recent appearance on Up & Adams, Davante Adams hyped up his former teammate.

“Any team that has Aaron Rodgers…is a Super Bowl contender,” Adams said.

While in Green Bay for all those years, the Packers were almost always Super Bowl contenders with Rodgers at the helm.

Despite not winning a Super Bowl, the team had plenty of great regular season success with Rodgers and Adams together from 2014-2021.

They won five division championships and made four NFC Championship Game appearances.

As Adams hypes up his former MVP quarterback, it is important to note how good of a team Rodgers has around him with the New York Jets.

With great skill players in wide receiver Garrett Wilson and running back Breece Hall, along with a revamped offensive line, New York’s offense could be a lot better in 2024.

Defensively, led by All-Pro cornerback Sauce Gardner, this is one of the more stout units in the league.

If Aaron Rodgers is healthy, the sky can be the limit for this Jets team.

As Davante Adams knows all too well, when Rodgers is at his best, he is tough to beat.

That could bode very well for a franchise looking to become relevant again.
