Deion Sanders Expresses Desire for His Sons to Join Same NFL Team

Deion Sanders Says He Would Love For His Sons To Play For 1 NFL Team

The Las Vegas Raiders were reportedly in the mix to trade up to get a quarterback in the NFL Draft this offseason, but that wasn’t the case.

Now, they’re going to have Aidan O’Connell and Gardner Minshew competing for the QB1 spot, and while there’s a chance they turn out to be at least good enough to help them win some games, those chances seem slim.

Considering that, several experts have them getting Colorado star Shedeur Sanders in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

With that in mind, they asked Colorado HC and NFL legend Deion Sanders about the prospect of his son playing for the Raiders (via Vegas Sports Today).

The legendary player raved about the stadium and the city, and he claimed that he would definitely love his sons to play for a team like that.

He also went on to say that Antonio Pierce was a great mind, a great man, and a great leader, adding that he earned the job.

Sanders later added that he doesn’t want Coach Pierce to lose enough games to be in a position to get Shedeur — who’s projected to be the No. 1 pick next season — in the NFL Draft, but he would gladly make sure things work themselves out in a way.

His other son, Shilo, who plays safety, is also projected to make it to the league next season, so who knows? Perhaps Coach Prime might be able to pull some strings to get both of his sons in Sin City.
