DeMar DeRozan: No Plans to Play for 25 Years

DeMar DeRozan: No Plans to Play for 25 Years

DeMar DeRozan expressed frustration after the Chicago Bulls’ loss in the Play-In Tournament. Despite his three-year stint with the Bulls, they have only reached the playoffs once, being eliminated by the Milwaukee Bucks in 2022.

In addition, for the past two seasons, they have been knocked out by the Miami Heat in the Play-In Tournament, a result DeRozan wants to avoid repeating. This situation could have a significant impact on the veteran forward’s decisions in his upcoming free agency.

“My desire to be here remains unchanged, but I just want to win,” DeRozan stated.

DeRozan is also cognizant that he doesn’t have many years left to chase his championship aspirations.

“The next game I play will be my 16th season,” DeRozan remarked. “You realize that the window closes for you personally. I’m not looking to play for 25 years.”
