Following the fracture of his right hand’s fourth metacarpal on Friday, Anadolu Efes’ Derek Willis had surgery on Saturday.

The injury happened during the third quarter of the match against Partizan Mozzart Bet at Sinan Erdem Dome. Despite contributing ten points, two steals, and one assist in 17 minutes, Willis had to leave the game early.

Anadolu Efes officially declared that he would be sidelined for six to eight weeks. The Istanbul team managed to overcome Partizan, improving their record to 5-5 in Europe’s top club continental competition.
