The Baltimore Ravens made one of the splash signings of the offseason by acquiring Derrick Henry, one of the best running backs of the last decade, in a multi-year deal.

Henry, the former Offensive Player of the Year with the Titans, is enthusiastic about joining Baltimore and relieved not to be the focal point as there are many talented players on John Harbaugh’s team.

“It’s going to be fun and a breath of fresh air not being the center of attention,” Henry recently told The Athletic.

Jackson, the quarterback in Baltimore, is expected to help Henry carry the offensive load.

Jackson, a two-time MVP, has rushed for 1,000 yards twice and has improved as a passer over his career with Baltimore.

In 2023, Jackson had a passer rating above 100 for only the second time in six years.

With both his arm and legs, Jackson and Henry have the potential to form one of the best QB-RB duos the league has seen in a while.

Despite being 30 years old and in his ninth NFL season, Henry is coming off another Pro Bowl season where he surpassed 1,000 rushing yards for the fifth time.

He could be a significant improvement over Gus Edwards and J.K. Dobbins, who both departed for the Los Angeles Chargers.

While the pressure may be less on Henry, all eyes will still be on him when he has the ball.
