Along with starting quarterback Deshaun Watson missing a chunk of the 2023 season for the Cleveland Browns, star running back Nick Chubb also missed a huge part of the campaign.

Though he missed the rest of the season after tearing up his knee in Week 2 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, heading into the 2024 campaign, the vibes from the team are high regarding Chubb.

Watson recently spoke to the Cleveland media about how careful people need to be when it comes to doubting his teammate, especially after seeing him squat 500+ pounds coming off that major knee injury.

“No one on our team ever doubted Chubb. If you have any doubt in Chubb I think you’re supporting the wrong organization,” Watson said.

Not only should the media be careful about doubting Chubb, but opposing defenses should be too.

The 28-year-old has been one of the most consistent running backs in the game since he was selected by the Browns in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

Chubb has rushed for more than 1,000 yards four times in his first five seasons, just missing the mark with 996 yards as a rookie.

Additionally, the four-time Pro Bowl back has recorded more than eight total touchdowns in all five of his healthy seasons.

When he is at his best, he is one of the elite offensive players in the NFL.

As he enters his seventh season, it will be interesting to see how Chubb manages his workload coming off the injury.

If he can regain some of his Pro Bowl form, the rest of the league might be in trouble.
