Detroit Pistons Eyeing Dennis Lindsey and Keeping Tabs on Tim Connelly for Potential President of Basketball Operations Position

Pistons Interested In Dennis Lindsey, Monitoring Tim Connelly For President Of Basketball Operations Role

The Detroit Pistons are keeping a close eye on Tim Connelly as a potential candidate for their new president of basketball operations, should Connelly decide to leave the Minnesota Timberwolves this offseason, reports Marc Stein of The Stein Line.

Connelly is currently under contract for the second year of a five-year deal.

In addition to Connelly, the Pistons are also considering Dennis Lindsey, who is currently working as a consultant for the Mavs.

Sources have mentioned JJ Redick as another name to watch for the open position, according to Stein.

Whoever assumes the role of president of basketball operations will ultimately determine the fate of Troy Weaver with the Pistons for the upcoming season.
