Djokovic Contemplates Pursuing Tennis Career Without Coach In Tow

Novak Djokovic is currently without a coach and considering continuing his tennis career without one.

Djokovic had been working with coaches throughout his career, including Marian Vajda and more recently, Goran Ivanisevic. However, he shocked the tennis community by parting ways with Ivanisevic and has no immediate plans to hire a new coach.

Despite working with Nenad Zimonjic at the Monte-Carlo Masters, Djokovic is considering continuing without a full-time coach as he values their friendship over a professional coaching relationship.

“Basically, we don’t have any kind of commitment. It’s based on the relationship that has existed for many years. I’m considering whether I should or shouldn’t have a coach; I’m considering different things.”

Djokovic is weighing his options and the future of his coaching situation remains uncertain. With his vast experience, Andy Roddick believes anyone could coach Djokovic, but for now, Djokovic is content with Zimonjic and may continue working together.

“But I had a really good time with Nenad Zimonjic as my coach in the last three weeks. So you know, we are talking about continuing and seeing – let’s see.”
