Djokovic To Win ‘Two Or Three Grand Slam In 2024’ According To Mouratoglou

Novak Djokovic failed to win the 2024 Australian Open, but according to Patrick Mouratoglou, he’ll still win two or three Grand Slams in 2024.

The 2024 season didn’t quite start the way the 36-year-old Serbian or his fans anticipated. The 24-time Grand Slam champion played at the United Cup, and he played well, but then he experienced some injury issues.

Things didn’t go much better at the Australian Open as he started well but then failed short of his goal of winning the tournament. Jannik Sinner stopped him in the semi-final, which created many narratives about Djokovic possibly facing a huge problem this year.

He’s not getting any younger, and some of these young players ‘are coming.’ Patrick Mouratoglou isn’t so worried about all of it.

While he recognized that Djokovic was beaten by a better player on that day in Melbourne, he’s still confident that the Serbian will find a way to get back.

“Now he’s probably too disappointed, but in a few days, ‘wow, they were so heavy. I come back to normal pressure, the pressure I’m used to, which is the pressure of being number one and the greatest player of all time.’ But this is why I feel too much for him. I still think that Novak is going to win two to three Grand Slams this year.”

Backing Djokovic to bounce back makes sense because we’re talking about arguably the best tennis player of all time. He’s not going away without a fight, and he still has far more experience than any other player on the ATP Tour.

It’s unrealistic to think that he’s going to drop in a level so much all of a sudden. Whether he wins two or three majors remains to be seen, but he will certainly be in contention for all of them.
