The Los Angeles Dodgers are looking to clinch a berth in the World Series on Sunday as they take on the New York Mets in game six of the National League Championship Series.
After holding a series lead of three games to one, the Mets won game five on Friday to extend the series.
The Dodgers high powered lineup will be missing a key piece as they announced a lineup change ahead of the start of game six.
According to MLB on ‘X,’ Freddie Freeman will not start for the Dodgers in game six, and Max Muncy will take his spot at first base.

Freeman has been dealing with a sore right ankle since September, and it has caused him to miss a couple of postseason games thus far.
It appears that the ankle might be affecting Freeman at the plate as in the NLCS, he has three hits in 18 at-bats with one walk and four strikeouts.
In game five on Friday, Freeman had no hits in five at-bats while striking out twice.
Freeman missed game four of the NLCS, and the Dodgers won the game by a score of ten to two without him.
The Dodgers will look to clinch the National League Pennant on Sunday and avoid a game seven that would take place on Monday at Dodger Stadium.
It would be the Dodgers’ first World Series appearance since winning the title in the Covid shortened 2020 season.
Michael Kopech will take the mound in game six in what appears to be a bullpen game for the Dodgers.
